How Grace Photography Began
Grace Photography did not begin with a business plan. It began with a single photograph — an unplanned, unposed moment between two people who had just realized the wedding was really happening.
That photograph mattered more than any we had composed on purpose. Everything since has been an attempt to find that moment again.
Why We Photograph
A photograph is not a record of what someone looked like. It is a record of what a moment felt like to be inside of.
We are less interested in capturing pictures than in preserving the feeling that will otherwise be the first thing forgotten — the exact quality of light, the particular way someone laughed, the second before anyone knew to smile.
